Pipe grade is the slope of a gravity pipe, expressed as a percentage or ratio of vertical fall to horizontal run. For gravity drainage to function correctly, pipe must be installed at or above the minimum grade required for self-cleaning velocity (typically 0.5%–1.0% minimum depending on pipe size and material). Pipe grade is verified by checking invert elevations at each manhole or cleanout.
Log grade shots, verify elevations, and generate inspector-ready field reports from your phone. No office work required.
