The Point of Tangency (PT) is the point where a horizontal curve ends and the alignment returns to a tangent (straight) section. Like the PC, the PT is staked in the field to define the end of the curve and the end of superelevation transition. The PT station is computed from the PC station plus the arc length of the curve.
